since I typed on this blog. Oh my.. I am busy as hell with work. Hence would only be able to find time to blog when I’m a little more free.

Quick updates on various things:

Sisters and Brothers: We have confirmed the number to be 7. Xiao mei was my 8th but she couldn’t make it because of wobbly head, hence I decided not to find any replacement. 7 will do just fine.
Videographer: We have found someone we really liked but the price is very steep. I’ve tasked bubs to do up our scripts (to fulfill his dream of becoming a director/producer) so that we can share with the videographers to get a more accurate quote.
Pixs from Bluebay: We will call to bug them real soon as we have sent in our revisions since almost a mth ago
Gown picking on the 18 Sep: That would be the day I picked my dream gown. Hopefully I can find something I like
Hugo: Bubs got himself a Hugo Boss overcoat. See how much his mum loved him. *chuckles*
Food Tasting: We would be organizing it on Daddy bub’s birthday. Kill 2 birds with one stone
Photographer: Got them already.
Ginny and YC: To meet them up after scripts get finalized so that I can brief them on how they can do our invitation card.
Sisters: We are meeting up real soon. Am quite excited to see the 7 beautiful ladies together. Although a little afraid that they might feel awkward, but time will definitely tell.
Programme: We should do the detailed planning once the scripts are out.

bluebay photos are out

We waited earnestly as the green bar slowly fills up the google’s chrome logo. We randomly picked one and waited for the picture to unfold itself slowly on the browser.

I decided to turn in first instead of waiting for that hour to unleash and I forced bubs not unzip the folder so that we can both see it together in the morning.

The morning arrives and I jumped out of bed heading towards the computer. Bubs is already there unzipping the folder. I ran to the toilet for the morning routine of washing up and head straight back to his desktop.

The pictures were gorgeous. Although there are 50 of them, but it seems too little. The touch up with perfect and we’ve decided to pay another $100 to touch up the rest of the 20 photos which we have selected to burn into a CD instead of printing them in the album. (saving money)

The money and time spent on Bluebay is definitely worthy.

As much I am so tempted to share the beautiful outcome, I have to refrain and save it the best for the wedding night. Sorry peeps!

*exception goes to those who can’t make it for our wedding. Shout!

Sister number 3: Baobei Emily!

She is my sweet little baobei! We have been sisters since I was 15. love her to bits!

She is an expert in pool, so guys, you can challenge her!

And most importantly, she is good with drinks. Hence she will help me well on the night!

Many would have capture this on facebook already. Yes, this is one of the 5 dresses I have chosen. This picture was taken by bubs. He tried to sneak one by hiding behind the photographer. I’ve forgotten if I’ve chosen this pose for the actual album. We’ll see on the 20 Jul 10.

Don’t think I will be sharing any pictures that has been confirmed because it would defeat the whole purpose of the album “displayed” during the banquet. I shall save it for that day!

We’re Back. The weather there is scorching but it results our very beautiful backdrop of blue skies and white fluffy clouds. Very satisfied with the end result. We went through a 5 hour long selection process and heart wrenchingly chose only 50 out of the 200. We were discipline d and wary to not want to explode our budget. However, we paid a little more to keep another 20 raw shots into the CD.

We would be able to download and see the touched up ones on the 20 Jul. In the meantime, bubs will put up some which he hid behind the photographer and steal a few shots of me.

My beloved Janet Tang!

This photo doesn’t do her much justice as she is so much prettier now!

I’ve finally treated her to ichiban boshi. Sorry, hope it’s not a misery treat!

Most importantly, although she say she is not creative, she has helped came up with the most important thing for our wedding; a fabulous theme for the night! Won’t reveal it now as I would want to firm more things up with my wedding committee (which i would update shortly too)

Yes! She is my beloved BFF and despite she would be busy preparing for her own wedding next year, she nodded without much consideration when I proposed to her! haha! Love ya to bits!

I would showcase my 7 other beautiful bridesmaids which I’ve gathered shortly! It’s time the boys start gathering their troops!! :p

Yes done deal! with great friend like Kate, we got ourselves a small discount which wykid designs don’t normally provide. Woot!

I will post the picture once we got it done engraving! The engraving content is rather amusing and it’s copyrighted by my bubs! I had a good laugh for 10 minutes with his awesome idea! I’m sure it would perk us up anytime in our future life together! Thanks bubs! don’t be angry with my laughs!

house hunting

Have kick started our house hunting. After a long tiring search on Sunday, at least we are clear for now the criteria for our house.

1. Mansion-ate

2. > 150sq ft

3. Not too old

4. Accessible for bubs to have a “no-jam” scenario to the expressway

5. Easy for me to grab a bus or best is walkable to the train station

6. Quaint (not too crowded and noisy like Tampines interchange neighborhood)

Poor Patrick whom we have now engage fully with his services. He is great and the most importantly, because we are friends, it makes conversations more honest. Most importantly, we have settled whats most important commission as we won’t want to be in a state of losing any form of friendship because of money issues. Thanks for being such a great agent!!

Next few post will have different updates on the progress of “ourstorybooklife” status. Short and sweet just like facebook status. haha!
